Looking for my crack on the most recent RAW? Go to Monday Night Raw.

June 1, 2008 -- Santino Marella Gags It Up

Do you enjoy Santino Marella? Well, check out the half-kayfabe Interview With Santino Marella in my hometown newspaper, the Baltimore Sun. Very entertaining.

ANYWHO I'm looking forward to watching this week's Monday Night RAW to see what this $1 million insanity is about. Can't wait to give you my crack on it...come back Tuesday.

May 26, 2008 -- Memorial Day Millions

OK. I admit it. I dropped the ball. Our Memorial Day BBQ went late, I TiVo'd RAW but could only watch the first hour. Watched the second hour last night. Don't see a point in a summary, like my other blogs, so here are some comments:

Another HBK v. Chris Jericho match. This just goes back to what I've been saying week after week -- just put two good wrestlers in match together and I'll watch. I don't need gimmicks or insanity, just great talent and a good story. I mean, these guys both looked a little sluggish at the beginning, but who's gonna argue that they didn't finish up with a damn good match and an interesting cliff-hanger?

Randy Orton was pretty decent on the mic last night. Now that I see him side-by-side with another good promo guy, I see how he's a good foil. Not so boring for once.

McMahon is giving away $1 million. Hmmm...what's the catch? Where's the gimmick that will make us all groan? Look, let's make it easy on everybody, I know how hard it is to make this work, so how about they give me the money. I'll finally have time to actually blog like everyday instead of twice a week, Vince can use my constructive criticism to improve the product, and you guys get some entertaining blogging. Everybody wins!

Speaking of millions, Ted DeBiase Jr. debuts. SWEET. I don't know anything about the kid, maybe Vince could give him the old Million Dollar Championship, last held by the Ringmaster (who you might know as Stone Cold Steve Austin).

Or how about this: Jr. woos Cody Rhodes into a heel turn, then brings a disgruntled DH Smith and our buddy Kenny Dykstra as this group of young stars. They wander aimlessly around the lockerroom, stir things up with the vets, get in peoples faces and act like young hooligans. Oh, and they win like every match they're in for a few weeks. Maybe the charisma factor is lacking here, who knows, maybe that's not very good writing on my part, maybe I should save my creative and entertaining comments for next week's crack.

I'll put something else up over the weekend.
